Go Galaxy Privacy Policy
Go Galaxy is a single-player game that works on your own device. This page explains exactly what it stores, what it does not collect, and who to ask if you have questions.
1. The short version
Go Galaxy does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no in-app purchases and no online features. Your progress and settings stay in small files on your own device.

2. Who we are
Go Galaxy is made and published by Dharmik Gohil, trading as HEWN CRAFT Studio, based in Surat, Gujarat, India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean HEWN CRAFT Studio.

3. What the game stores on your device
Go Galaxy writes two small JSON files to your device’s standard application data folder, so the game can remember where you stopped:
gogalaxy_save.json: your progress, including the highest unlocked level, completed levels, collected star shards and letters, best times, death and play counts, total play time, whether you have seen the prologue and ending, and the date you started.gogalaxy_settings.json: your preferences, such as volume, fullscreen, resolution, vsync, screen shake, text speed, game speed, timer and minimap options, and reduced flashing.
On Windows these files are normally in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\dharmikgohil.art\Go Galaxy\. They are never uploaded by the game. They do not contain your name, email address or any account details.
To remove them, delete the two files or use the New Journey option in the game to start fresh.
4. What we do not collect
The game does not contain code to collect, send or share any of the following, and we receive none of it from the game:
- your name, email address, phone number or postal address
- your location
- advertising identifiers or analytics about how you play
- payment or financial details
- contacts, photos, microphone or camera data
Go Galaxy has no advertising and does not use third-party ad or analytics services. It is made with the Unity engine; we have not added Unity Analytics, Unity Ads or any other Unity online service to the game. Unity’s own privacy notice covers Unity’s software and is available at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.
5. Downloading from itch.io
Go Galaxy is distributed through itch.io. When you create an itch.io account, download the game, rate it or leave a comment, itch.io processes your information under its own policies, including its privacy policy and terms.
As the creator, we can see aggregate statistics that itch.io provides (such as page views and download counts) and any public comments or messages you choose to send us there. We do not receive your payment details.
6. This website
The Go Galaxy pages are part of hewncraftstudio.tech. Visiting the website is covered by our website privacy policy, which explains how site analytics and cookies work. That is separate from playing the game.
7. If you contact us
If you email us for support or send feedback, we use what you send (your email address, your message and any details you attach, such as your system information) only to reply and to fix problems. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. We keep support emails for as long as they are useful for helping you and improving the game, and delete them on request.
8. Children
Go Galaxy collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Younger players can play without an account. The story deals with themes of loss and grief, so parents and guardians may want to look at the screenshots first. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights and choices
Because the game does not send your data to us, we hold nothing about your play to access, correct or delete, and you stay in control of the files on your device.
For any information you have sent us directly (for example a support email), you can ask us to see, correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, laws such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the EU GDPR or the California CCPA may give you additional rights. 10. Changes to this policy
If the game or this policy changes in a way that affects your data, for example if an online feature is ever added, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
